For the first time this season, an SEC team has officially fallen out of the AP Top 25.

After Tennessee defeated Florida in Knoxville on Saturday, the Vols have pushed the Gators out of the poll.

The SEC began the year with six teams in the Top 25 AP rankings: Alabama, Georgia, Texas A&M, Ole Miss, Arkansas, and Kentucky. After Tennessee and Florida began the season with week one victories, both the Vols and the Gators entered the poll before week two.

While the eight SEC teams have been bouncing around the polls in the last couple of weeks, it has still been the same eight teams.

Until now.

Despite the Gators falling out of the poll, it was Arkansas that fell the furthest after its heartbreaking loss to Texas A&M in Arlington, Texas. The Razorbacks dropped ten spots in the poll with the loss. Otherwise, the other six teams in the conference moved up or stayed the same.

Starting at the top, neither Georgia nor Alabama moved while holding down the top two spots in the nation. Kentucky moved up one spot after defeating Northern Illinois, and Tennessee climbed up three spots to officially enter the Top 10 for the first time since 2016. The Ole Miss Rebels moved up two slots and the Aggies jumped up six spots after their win over Arkansas.
