Chattanooga four-star athlete Boo Carter is showing Tennessee some love.
After visiting Knoxville last weekend for the Vols’ win over then-No. 20 Florida, Carter wore a Tennessee arm sleeve during his game Thursday night.

Carter led Chattanooga Christian School to a, 33-16, victory over rising area power Boyd Buchanan. Longtime Tennessee high school football coach Gary Rankin is in his first season at Boyd Buchanan after leading Alcoa and Riverdale to an abundance of state championships over the last two decades.
The 5-foot-10 four-star was critical in CCS’ Thursday night win, totaling three touchdowns while boasting his team’s offense.

Carter plays an abundance of running back at Chattanooga Christian School but likely projects as a receiver at the college level due to his small stature and blazing speed.
The high school junior ranks as a four-star and the No. 249 player and No. 32 athlete in the country according to the 247sports composite rankings. An electrifying playmaker, Carter is the No. 4 prospect in the Volunteer State for the class of 2024.
Tennessee is after a number of the top instate prospects in the class after not pushing hard instate in the 2023 class.
Carter visited Tennessee this summer before returning to Knoxville last weekend for the Florida game. Josh Heupel and his staff getting Carter back to Knoxville for another visit this fall could be a strong sign about Tennessee’s spot in Carter’s recruitment.
CCS travels Grace Christian Knoxville the day before Tennessee faces Alabama before closing its regular season on Oct. 28 at Knoxville’s Webb School. Tennessee faces Kentucky at home the next day in front of another sellout crowd at Neyland Stadium.
