Kick Off Time, Broadcast Details Set For Tennessee-Alabama

Tennessee’s week seven matchup with Alabama will kick off at 3:30 p.m. ET with CBS broadcasting the game, the SEC announced Monday.

The Third Saturday in October will mark Tennessee’s second time playing on the SEC on CBS game of the week after the Vols faced Florida in the same time spot.

Tennessee’s matchup with the Crimson Tide will be Alabama’s third straight game on CBS. The reigning SEC Champions faced Arkansas on CBS last week and host Texas A&M for the lone CBS night game this coming weekend.

The matchup against Tennessee’s biggest traditional rival will be the Vols’ third straight against a ranked opponent and their fourth ranked matchup in their first six games of the season.

Alabama is back at the No. 1 spot in the AP poll after Geogria struggled with Missouri Saturday night. The Crimson Tide and Bulldogs have alternated sitting at the top spot in the poll throughout the young season.

Alabama has had Tennessee’s number since Nick Saban took over as head coach. The Crimson Tide have won 15 straight games in the rivalry entering this year’s matchup at Neyland Stadium.

Tennessee has its most formidable teams in recent years and ranks No. 8 nationally ahead of this week’s matchup against No. 25 LSU.

Other top SEC games on the week include Arkansas at BYU at 3:30 p.m. ET on either ABC or ESPN, LSU at Florida at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN and Mississippi State at Kentucky at 7:30 p.m. ET on the SEC Network.
