Alvin Kamara Ready To Bet On The Vols

Alvin Kamara is a little frustrated.

Is it because of his poor start to the 2022 season, playing just two of New Orleans’ first four games? Nope. How about the Saints 1-3 start and heartbreaking loss against Minnesota in London? No. He’s been in that position before.

Surely it’s his lingering legal issues from his battery with substantial bodily hard arrest? Not so fast, my friend.

Alvin Kamara is frustrated because his teammate and former Florida defensive back Marcus Maye has yet to pay him his $1,000 from the teammates’ bet on Tennessee’s matchup against the Gators.

The unpaid debt isn’t keeping Kamara from seeking out more action. As Tennessee heads to Louisiana to face LSU this weekend, Kamara is ready to bet on the Vols with any local Bayou Bengal supporter.

Tennessee is three-point favorites against LSU after opening as four-point favorites. The Vols are 3-1 against the spread this season.

The Vols matchup against LSU won’t be Kamara’s last chance to bet on Tennessee this season. The Vols face Alabama , where Saints’ running back Mark Ingram won the Heisman Trophy, the week after the LSU matchup.

Kamara is off to a slow start to his 2022-23 season in large part due to injuries. The former Tennessee standout has 100 rushing yards and 19 receiving yards without a touchdown this season.

The dynamic running back is expected to make his return to the lineup Sunday against Seattle.
