There are six ranked teams representing the SEC in the week seven AP Top 25 poll.

After LSU’s loss to Tennessee over the weekend, the Tigers have fallen out of the poll, making them the only SEC to move in or out this weekend. Otherwise, the other six still remain, with a little bit of movement from nearly every team.

Mississippi State is the big riser from the SEC on the weekend. The Bulldogs moved up seven spots after a dominant victory over Arkansas in Starkville. Mississippi State’s next opponent, Kentucky, dropped a full nine spots in the rankings after a loss to unranked South Carolina at home this weekend.

Despite a first-half scare from Vanderbilt over the weekend, Ole Miss remains at No. 9 after the Rebels were able to outlast the Commodores for a sizable win.

After the previously mentioned win over LSU in Baton Rouge this weekend, Tennessee and head coach Josh Heupel are all the way up to No. 6 in the polls this week, just days before hosting Alabama on the Third Saturday in October.

Even though the Tide pulled out a win at home against Texas A&M, Alabama still dropped two spots in the poll with the non-impressive victory.

And lastly, after a lopsided victory over Auburn on Saturday, Georgia has now reclaimed the No. 1 spot in the country. On a non-SEC note, Ohio State fills in the middle at No. 2.
