Halloween is around the corner and the monster is back in Knoxville.

Twenty-four hours before Tennessee’s game against Kentucky at home, the Vols’ social media team dropped the week nine hype video on social media.

VFL and Kansas City Chiefs offensive lineman Trey Smith narrates a spooky story about a particular once-feared monster that is stirring again after being down for a long time.

“The monster has awoken!” Smith shouts in the video. “I tried to warn you. I tried to tell you but you didn’t want to listen. The monster is back.”

No. 3 Tennessee will host No. 19 Kentucky under the lights of Neyland Stadium on Saturday night. The Vols will be dressed out with Halloween in mind, donning the slick Dark Mode uniform combination and debuting a new all-black helmet.

Tennessee will look to keep the undefeated season alive behind the arm of Heisman hopeful Hendon Hooker as the Wildcats and Will Levis attempt to end the Vols’ red-hot run.
